Identifying Symbol

Baptism is a ceremony full of symbolism and significance, and we take delight in this wonderful act of faith. When we're lowered under the water, we identify with Jesus' death and burial. As we rise up out of the water, we align ourselves with His resurrection—signifying our own new life in Him.

“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” -Romans 6:4
