Joy Church is a new church located at 1368 William Floyd Parkway, Shirley, NY 11967. We believe that as we find delight in our Creator, we live life to the fullest; and that's what we aim for in all of life.

Not at all! Feel comfortable—just as you are. Our atmosphere is casual and relaxed. Meaning that what you prefer, you’ll fit right in. Our focus is on worshiping God, not what we're wearing.

Our Sunday’s are devoted to the Word of God, relationships, sharing some food, and prayer. During our service—which is approximately 70 minutes long—we aim to foster a joyful atmosphere where we can express our adoration to God. During service we sing songs both modern and classic, pray together, and engage with the Bible. Our aim is to preach messages that are deeply rooted in Scripture, engaging, and applicable to modern life.
After service ends the real time in relationships begin. Some people gather together for provided bagels and coffee, others hang out around the church, still others make plans to spend the day together. In all the things, we walk through life together and want to walk together with you.

Currently our building is under renovation, with the focus of the renovation being the children’s room and nursey. We will offer Sunday School for kids aged 5-11 called Joyful Kids. Your kids will learn about Jesus in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment by a volunteer staff. We take the safety of our children seriously, and have background checked every volunteer who works with children.

The Bible does not specify how often we are to celebrate Communion, only that we are to be regular in our practice of it. At present, we celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of the month and various other special occasions.
We welcome everyone who has put their faith in Jesus to celebrate Communion with us, whether you regularly attend Joy Church or not. In line with the Scriptures (1st Cor. 11:27-29) we ask that only believers partake in Holy Communion and that each believer examine their own heart before receiving it.
